Verdict

Stevie Gee finished ahead of Ivory Silk when second off this mark at Windsor two runs ago and has been knocking on the door this year. He should be thereabouts again but Mac Gille Eoin is starting to look a light of former days and Seek The Fair Land's best form is over 7f. Bunce is gradually easing toward a decent mark and could be interesting but DANCING MAITE should take all the beating if reproducing the form of last week's third at York. Roy Bowring's six-year-old is a pound lower than when third behind the progressive Joe Packet in this race 12 months ago and faces nothing of the winner's calibre this time around.
