In depth
Verdict
Blue Leader makes plenty of appeal being a lightly raced son of Cadeaux Genereux out of a Group 1 winner and is sure to have benefited from a promising fourth in similar company earlier in the month. Mahroos has clearly had his problems as he has not been seen since finishing runner-up in a minor event at Chantilly almost two years ago. The son of Kingmambo did have subsequent French derby winner, Anabaa Blue, behind him on that occasion and it is interesting that he has been kept in training. A market move could prove significant while the useful Oopsie Daisy and the newcomers Akshar and Tom's Cruising makes this an interesting finale.
