Verdict
Brazilian Terrace comes out best of these on official ratings and can give Kieren Fallon another winner. The Michael Bell-trained gelding is a dual Yarmouth winner but this drop to claiming company should suit him well after four runs in handicaps. Sir Haydn drops back in trip for this race but has already been tried unsuccessfully in blinkers, and a bigger danger to the selection might be Capulette, who comes here on the back of a good second to Nuit Sombre at Ripon. Lunar Leader scrambled home at Ayr last time but needs to improve on that based on official ratings. Lady Of Eminence was well beaten in a decent Newmarket on her sole run to date, and bigger dangers to the selection could well come from Richard Hannon's dual all-weather scorer, Miss Champers, and George Margarson's Pretty Pekan, who was third on her last-but-one outing at Goodwood to subsequent scorer Downtherefordancin. However, overall, Brazilian Terrace gets the nod.
