Verdict
Thajja would not have to be exceptional to make a winning debut and is the selection. By Daylami out of a mare that is related to the likes of Mehtaaf, Elnadim and this year's Nell Gwyn winner, Khulood, so does not lack for breeding. Of his opponents, He's A Rocket has shown promise in three starts but at a modest level. Varmose also showed promise on his debut, keeping on after getting unbalanced at Epsom, and he could chase the selection home. Frances County has some pace in the bottom line of her pedigree, while Miss Hoofbeats was well beaten on her debut. It all points back to Thajja, who can make a winning debut.
