In depth

Verdict

This seems to lack strength in depth so Flag Of Truce is given the call over Hinterland, Halkin, Tribal Chief and Elizabethan Age, but we would be happy to be guided by the betting. The well-bred Dubai Millennium colt Flag Of Truce catches the eye here, although he is making his racecourse debut at the age of three. Monitor the betting. Halkin's third to Follow My Lead at Windsor was fairly promising and he warrants a mention. The $240,000 purchase Hinterland would get a big mention if supported, while Tribal Chief looks an interesting newcomer. Aimee Vibert showed some promise on her debut, as did Mademoiselle, while Elizabethan Age would hold fairly solid claims if reverting to her early two-year-old promise. Overall, though, and bearing in mind the betting caveat we mentioned, the vote goes to Flag Of Truce.
