The selection is Maclean, trained by Gary Moore, with the dangers being Elljay's Boy and Life Estates. Maclean does have the right credentials to take a race of this nature with just the three runners. His second To Amanpuri in February reads well in this context and it wasn't a bad run recently behind Canny Thinker at Plumpton earlier this month. Elljay's Boy has some good recent form to his name having run fourth to Lubinas at Hereford in April followed by a victory over Amadeus and second to Maidstone Monument. Jimmy Frost's Life Estates needs to improve considerably on his run behind Random Quest here about 10 days ago. The selection is Maclean to win this however.
