Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap with many in form rivals in opposition including Act In Time, The Sawdust Kid and Maidstone Monument and we will take a chance on The Sawdust Kid. The nine year old has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest effort when second behind Norlandic would make him hard to beat as he is running off the same mark here. Act In Time ran at Stratford yesterday and it will be interesting to see if he can cope with two quick races but on his best form he would have a chance. Maidstone Monument has been in good form of late but gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when a well beaten second behind Alakdar last time. Of the remainder Vague Idea is another in form but he to is creeping up the weights so we are happy to side with The Sawdust Kid.
