Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this contest with many in form rivals in opposition including Flahive's First, Mestre Sala and Fear Siuil and we will take a chance on Mestre Sala. The gelding from the Henry Daley yard won well last time out when defeating Dantie Boy and although he has risen in the weights for that win he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Flahive's Fist rates the main danger he was a good second behind Shampooed last time when Fear Siuil was third and on the same terms here he should confirm placings with that rival. Of the remainder Hidden Valley has a long absence to overcome while Rainbow Dance was very disappointing last time so we are happy to stick with Mestre Sala.
