        Verdict

Not too many to be concerned with in this closing maiden and Able Mind, Leoballero and Ice Palace are the main contenders, with the latter getting a confident vote. James Fanshawe's filly showed promise on her only start at two, when chasing home Avonbridge at Lingfield. The winner went on to win his next two outings, while both the third and fourth have also been successful. However, it was her effort at Warwick on her reappearance at Warwick which really took the eye, as she looked as though the outing would do her good. The winner that day, Alkaadhem, has since finished a respectable 2nd to the useful Meshaheer, with three 100 plus rivals trailing in his wake. The runner-up Sri Angkassa wasn't disgraced in finishing third in quite a hot Newmarket maiden won by a hotpot from the powerful Godolphin yard, with a well regarded filly in 2nd. This is much easier for Ice Palace and she should make no mistake. Able Mind has been wonderfully consistent, but of the other hand you could question whether he is putting everything in, while Leoballero has also shown solid maiden form, but looks to have enough to do against Ice Palace, who should make no mistake.
