Verdict
EMMROOZ will be hard to beat if he runs to the same level as his close second behind Bankable in a valuable handicap at Nad Al Sheba in February. Khateeb is a serious threat, while Dubai's Touch is a consistent performer that should never be underestimated. However, the last named is on a long losing run and also has a 242-day absence to overcome; so might simply be sharper for the outing. Khateeb, on the other hand, will have benefitted from his reappearance run at Lingfield 25 days ago. He strikes as the biggest threat today. Quite whether this will be his optimum trip is debateable, though. Royal God, a stablemate of the selection, also has to be worth a mention. He won a Listed race in France during his time with Freddie Head, so is obviously not without ability. However, being the mount of Frankie Dettori; it is safe to say Emmrooz is the main hope from Godolphin and this lightly raced four-year-old, who has already proved he can go well after a break; is taken as the one to be on here.
