    In depth

    Verdict

ACT GREEN caught the eye on his seasonal return and is forwarded as the one to be on. Charlotte Point is in great heart and is also respected, while Fesko is an interesting candidate to bear in mind. Fesko has struggled to win off this sort of mark this season but can make a bold bid for some of the place money, though. Charlotte Point represents the bang-in-form Paul Cole yard and, as she is only 3lb higher than she was at Goodwood last month, the filly should make a bold bid to defy the handicapper. She cannot be discounted in her current frame of mind. However, Act Green may have been in need of the run when she finished third here 15 days ago and, as her fitness is likely to have been sharpened to perfection, this daughter of Haafhd is fancied to relish today's faster surface.
