Verdict
Secret Liaison, Hill of Almuhim and Markington are the obvious factors in this race and we shall side with Markington. James Bethell's charge has kept some fairly decent company in the past but he probably found 1m4f off his radar last time out but were he to reproduce his form against Moon On A Spoon - that would be enough to suffice. Secret Liaison has been campaigned on the all-weather of late following a couple of turf runs. Any overnight rain would not unduly worry connections and his backers should expect to see him handy. Hill of Almuim has plenty of experience on a softer surface but he had shown form on this going so should not be too readily dismissed. Apt To Run has looked difficult to win with and is becoming ever more exposed without getting his head infront. Keel is unexposed on turf and could be worth a look if confidence is noted in the betting ring. Baileys Polka flopped on handicap debut and is surely better than the bare form suggests. Markington secures our nomination.
