This may be best left to CHEERS FOR THEA, who ran with credit at Beverley a fortnight ago and is likely to stake a strong claim for compensation in this company. Mayfair's Future struggles for consistency and can never be supported with maximum confidence, so it may be down to Astrolibra and Granary Girl to provide the sternest challenges to the selection. The last named has never won off a mark this high before but, as she can be hard to master when she puts her mind to the task in hand, she holds a fair each chance. Astrolibra has gone well fresh in the past and is versatile regarding the ground. This galloping surface will also suit her style of running and she shouldn't be underestimated. However, Cheers For Thea created the impression her turn is close to hand with her near miss last time. And she gets the nomination as the most likely scorer in this company.
