Verdict

Benny And The Jets and Obee Jo are the two winners on show but are penalised accordingly with slight preference for the latter who battled on stoutly to prevail at Thirsk last month. However, neither have achieved the level of form recorded by REGULAR, who continues to perform with credit without getting his head in front. Michael Bell appears to have identified a decent opportunity for the Exeed And Excel gelding to get off the mark here in receipt of weight from the two previous winners and with a running style expected to suit this drop back to 6f. Richard Fahey's newcomer Bold Show is the one requiring a market check.
