In depth
Verdict
A decent little contest with plenty of pace assured with Floppie Disc and Mary Jane expected to take them along at a fair clip. However, last years winner Roxanne Mill will have the strong pace she needs and is the choice to follow up, despite being 13lbs higher this time around. Claire Stretton gets on well with the mare, having won on her twice and her 7lbs claim will help ease the burden. She is back down now to a mark she has won off in the past and with the ideal draw next to the stands' side rail, she looks sure to go close. Mary Jane looks sure to go well from her high draw. She has plenty of pace and isn't badly treated on the best of her form, while Floppie Disc has been running well in defeat and although finishing last at Brighton, she was beaten less than two lengths over a trip which she barely gets. She will be suited by the return to the minimum trip here and looks sure to give a good account. Others to consider include Ivania, who can be forgiven her effort at Newmarket, as she missed the break. She can be better judged on her effort at Goodwood where she was just touched off by Avening and off just a 2lbs higher mark here must go well, as should Frascati, who confirmed her well-being when a fast finishing runner-up to Musical Fair at Redcar earlier this week, but Roxanne Mill has more going for her than most and can regain the winning thread.
