Verdict
The ultra-consistent Analyze is taken to land this at the expense of Cripsey Brook and Free Option. Mick Channon's horse certainly clocks up the miles in a season but this is arguably one of easiest tasks for sometime. The gelding knows every yard of this course at Colwick Park and his recent second to Wunderwood (who was not disgraced in better company) reads well. Cripsey Brook has won twice for this rider in recent months. He seems to go well for Kim Tinkler but the handicapper has had plenty of opportunity to assess the form and he isn't as well handicapped as he once was. Free Option doesn't know how to run a bad race and should have won more in his time than he has. The slight concern about him on this occasion is that he is unlikely to get quite the pace that one would often associate with the cavalry charges that he regularly contests. Rani Two's recent win came at Chester and today's course couldn't be more different. Royal Approval should have come on for two recent pipe-openers.
