Verdict
Saroog has a stiff task under a welter burden but is lightly-raced for a five-year-old and looked better than ever when scoring at Ascot in a Class 3 last month. A rise of 6lb seems harsh for a neck success but it wouldn't surprise if he were to improve again. However, he does have to concede nearly a stone to ROCHESTER HOUSE, who now steps up in grade after routing his opposition the last twice. He's also been hit with a hefty hike but stays further than this and is likely to make this a tough test for his rivals under the forecast soft conditions. Fellow three-year-old Laafy is also a leading player along with Litterale Ci, who ran so well at the Galway Festival last time.
