In depth
Verdict
Not a race that should take much winning in all probability and, of those to have raced previously, Baytown Shamrock has the best form on offer. Phil McEntee's has had five outings already and showed plenty of speed when only denied close home at Brighton before running creditably in a well contested minor event at Newmarket last week. The daughter of First Trump will surely win a race of this nature before making her mark in sprint nurseries later in the season. Paul Blockley's runners command plenty of respect so Emperor Cat should be noted in the exchanges while fellow newcomers Wee One and Doctor Price hail from yards that can ready a first-time out winner and should also be noted.
