Verdict
This doesn't look a strong maiden and a chance is taken with Qabas, who shaped with plenty of promise behind the well regarded Mezuzah on bottomless ground at Doncaster last backend. While his Derby entry looks optimistic to say the least, he should be capable of making his mark at this level. Namroud is sure to be all the better for his debut and will certainly know more this time, while Foretold may do better when he goes handicapping. Millafonic, out of the high-class Milligram is one to keep an eye on, but he holds no fancy entries which is something of a worry.
