Verdict

There was some cut in the ground when DE VEER CLIFFS made a promising start over a mile here in October. She finished second to subsequent Oaks runner-up Architecture on that occasion and may well be good enough on her reappearance. Pleasure Dome was well beaten in Listed company last time but had earlier gone close on fast ground at Goodwood while Torquay ran well over a longer trip at Lingfield on her debut. Quiet Approach is a half-brother to a winner over today’s trip and Rasmee is another newcomer to note.
