        Verdict

        Mt Desert can continue the excellent run of John Gosden by beating Tangible and Aylmer Road. The selection was successful over a mile and a quarter back in April and has since been gardually stepped up in trip. This is the furthest he has attempted but his style of running and pedigree suggest he will be at home over this two mile distance. Tangible was successful first time out this season and has since run with credit on two further occasions. The trip poses no problems and he should be in the shake up. Aylmer Road is a consistent performer at this level and should be the pick of the two Paul Cole runners. Top-weight Bulwark may prove best of the others but our idea of the winner is Mt Desert.
