Verdict
Some top trainers are represented here including Sir Michael Stoute with Elise and Saaed Bin Surroor with Princess Nada, both should improve on what they have achieved so far, however we will give the vote to the Mark Johnston trained Basque. The selection. a daughter of King's Best went off relatively unfancied when making her debut behind Riotous Applause. However she showed plenty of ability, being up with the pace for three furlongs before inexperience took over. She will improve leaps and bounds for that run and looks the one to be on here. Elise has had a couple of outings and although not running her race last time, she has strong claims on her debut run behind Famcred. Princess Nada looked in need of the outing when well beaten at Newmarket last month. She is superbly bred and will no doubt have learned a lot from that experience. Alessandria may do best of the newcomers, but Basque is our idea of the winner.
