In depth
Verdict
Sharaiji Blossom displayed plenty of promise on her debut and should be capable of beating this opposition, the best of which may be Mansiya and Fearless Spirit. The Godolphin filly did not look fully wound-up for her first run at Beverley, but obviously has ability, staying on late to be nearest at the finish. She is certain to improve on that effort and should be yet another winner for the boys in blue. Mansiya also produced a good performance on her debut, she was the only filly in the contest and finished a creditable second to Querido, against her own sex today she will be a major threat. There are some interesting newcomers including John Gosden's Fearless Spirit. She is a daughter of Spinning World and is related to numerous winners, most notably dual Guineas winner Roderigo de Triano, if she has half his talent she will be a danger to all. Henry Candy's Gambling Spirit is another to keep an eye on in the market, but Sharaiji Blossom has the proven ability and gets the vote.
