Verdict

It's interesting that Jim Crowley, who could presumably have ridden Glass Of Red, partners GENEROSO and a chance is taken with Stuart Williams' runner ahead of No One Likes Us and Xtreme. All three need to improve to trouble the likes of Glass Of Red and Zaffature who are closely matched on official ratings whilst City Gossip appears to have achieved a similar level of form and enters calculations too. Indigo Ink drops markedly in grade and may well improve as may Xtreme who didn't show that much on debut but is subject to an eyecatching jockey booking and sports a combination of headgear. No One Likes Us made his debut in a claimer and was sent off at a huge price but he stayed on pleasingly despite racing green and meeting trouble in running to be beaten just under 6 lengths in midfield. That wasn't too bad a race for one of its type and he rates a player. Marginal preference is for Generoso who hasn't threatened to trouble the judge in two runs in maiden company but he makes some appeal on paper and it would be no surprise to see him step up on that form now that he's dropped in class.
