Verdict

We end the card with a very open handicap with Dispol Veleta, Quickstyx, and Mr Belvedere all holding strong claims, however we will take a chance on Thadea. James Given's filly showed enough on her final outing of last term at Windsor to suggest she could win a race of this nature. She ran on strongly over today's trip to finish two lengths behind Habanero, form that could be good enough to land this prize. Quickstyx landed a mile maiden on the Polytrack last time and could be anything. Meanwhile Dispol Veleta another has to be considered following her exploits at Southwell and Wolverhampton. But the main challenge to the selection may come from Mr Belvedere who's best form came in nurseries last season and he looks to have been given a decent chance by the handicapper. So a tough getting out race but Thadea could be the answer.
