        Verdict

        Jefertiti, River Shamrock, Clear Away, and Redskin Raider look the principals in this maiden chase and the tentative vote goes to River Shamrock. The selection was a good second behind Tell Tale last time out over a longer trip. The drop in distance should suit and under similar conditions he will be hard to beat. Jefertiti rates the main danger on his third behind Lord Youky but that was over two miles and he is not sure to appreciate this trip and he has a 237 day absence to overcome so he is passed over on this occasion. Clear Away won a point to point in good style when last seen and although this looks more competitive he is open to improvement and is worth noting in the market. Redskin Raider will not be far away if he can reproduce his latest second behind Under The Sand but he is far from consistent and for that reason her is over looked here. Of the remainder Joey Dunlop is from a yard that does well here and is another to watch closely in the market but for the winner we return to River Shamrock
