A large field goes to post for this handicap chase and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Fier Goumier, Pornic, Cool Dante and Union Wood and the tentative vote goes to Cool Dante. The selection was clear and going well when falling in a race won by Ratty's Band last time and if his jumping holds out here he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit off what looks a fair mark. Fier Goumier rates the main danger on his latest second behind Calon Lan but he did not find as much as was expected off the bridle on that occasion and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Pornic was a fair third behind Dragon King last time but that form has since been let down and he looks in the handicappers grip at present. Union Wood is another worthy of respect but he would have been behind the selection if he had stood up last time and he will need to improve to score. Ratty's Band won that race last time but he will find this harder under his penalty and for the winner we return to Cool Dante.
