Verdict
Flycorn is best watched after a lengthy absence and Mr Grumpy seems harshly treated for this handicap debut on the back of a fair second in a maiden hurdle here last month. Muwalla makes a quick reappearance after a disappointment at Cartmel but may be suited by this more conventional track. The Whittington yard had a slightly quieter time of things last term but it will not surprise to see a major upturn in fortunes this time around and SALTO CHISCO can put one on the board for the Oxfordshire yard. He overcame considerable trouble in-running to oblige at Kempton in a photo last month and can hopefully defy a rather harsh 6lb hike for such a narrow success. Attest is going the right way over timber and should go close as he seeks a three-timer after game successes at Stratford and Warwick.
