Verdict
Nicky Richards does well in northern bumpers with a 29 per cent strike rate in the past five years. NANDO was sent off favourite for the yard on debut at Newcastle in November when revealing evident signs of ability and now returns to action after a break. He can make sufficient progress from that pleasing debut to score here. The booking of Brian Hughes for Special Prep, winner of his last two pointing starts, suggests the Robson team mean business whilst any money for Gordon Elliott's Arizona Bound would have be taken very seriously. The Russell team are doubly represented by a couple of possibles in newcomers Rubydoobs and Mighty Thunder and Aidan Coleman is a noteworthy booking for Good Man in what could be a decent bumper.
