Verdict
Harvis has arguably the best form on offer but he has questions to answer at this trip. Therefore a chance is taken that Royal Snoopy can halt a frustrating run on ground that should be ideal for him. He looked all out the winner of the Charisma Gold cup last time, but hit a wall as they came towards the finish and eventually had to settle for third place instead. He should have benefited from a break since than and, as he is best when dictating the pace, he should find this course much to his liking. His trainer is a shrewd customer when it comes to placing his horses and he will be looking to at least pay for the expenses for the long trip to Perth from his Lamborn base. Hunters Tweed has so far failed to live up to his promise over hurdles and faces a very stiff introduction to fences here.
