Verdict
Divet Hill jumped for fun out in front at Hexam last time and bounded to an easy success. However, he faces a different calibre of opponent here, and will find the likes of Rosencrantz a very different proposition. Venetia William has worked wonders to get him back on the racecourse after a series of set backs, but after trouncing the field at Towcester in his latest outing, he looked to be one to bear in mind. He return to a more suitable distance here and will take all the beating if he can stay out of trouble.
