Verdict
Hayaain can be forgiven his last run on account of the woefully inadequate trip and should be a different proposition here. He has been a consistent performer at around this trip since joining his current yard and has the right man aboard in Tom Scudamore to give him a forceful ride from the front. It would be no surprise to see him sent into an early lead, as Scudamore may have to restrict his use of the whip because he marks easily. Cottstown Boy has got to rate as the biggest danger after showing signs of a return to form in his last couple of outings. The small field could help him stay focused and this could be just what he needs after his trainer reported that he had lost his confidence over fences.
