      Verdict

      Highway Companion won over a longer trip at Musselburgh in January and is 8lb higher today having placed in an all-weather bumper subsequently. But GOLDEN TOWN won over course and distance at this time last year before placing in a higher grade hurdle back here and James Moffatt’s charge may prove the one to side with racing off a similar mark in this. Purple King won a novices' hurdle at the track last summer and Book Of Invasions makes his handicap debut.
