In depth

Verdict

Bermuda Pointe, Nirvana Swing and Commercial Express are three against the field in another wide open affair and the narrow nomination is given too Commercial Express. The selection goes well fresh looks on a fair mark and with his yard in form he could go well at a price. Bermuda Pointe rates the main danger on his latest forth behind Perange, he looks sure to be suited by the return to the shorter trip and with his yard continuing in good form he has definite place claims. Nirvana Swing had every chance until unshipping last time out and if he puts in a fluent round of fencing he is another with place claims. Classic Capers showed improved form to be second behind Randwick Roar last time and he has won off a higher mark in the past and is another that could go well. Open de L'Isle is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he now looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Great Jane could go well of her light weight but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Commercial Express.
