        Sam Quale (IRE) This former pointer has been in good form of late he handles the ground but he may struggle in this competitive event.

        Highbeath Ran moderately in a point last time out and he is readily passed over.

        Chergan (IRE) His best form is on faster ground but this drop in trip should help but he is creeping up the weights and others are preferred.

        Carrick Troop (IRE) His best form is over further and he has been let down by his jumping of late.

        Hitchhiker Was going well when falling first time out this season is only 5lb higher in the handicap and he holds a major chance.

        Pitchthedice Is out of form of late and he is readily passed over.

        Nijway Is out of form and others are preferred.

        Sireric (IRE) Has broken blood vessels of late and for that reason he is readily passed over.

        Solsgirth Is an in and out performer but he is well weighted on his best form and he would hold a fair chance if in the going mood.

        Sunuvugun His best form is over further and he will need to improve to win this.

        Mr Frangipani (IRE) Is very lightly raced of late and it is hard to know what to expect.

        Aelred Has been slightly disappointing of late and he is better over a shorter trip, others are preferred.
