Mutanaqel was more than 12 lengths behind Twenty Twenty over a longer trip at Fontwell but should get closer to the winner on 7lb better terms. However, Tom Scudamore prefers stablemate MALANGEN, who only weakened approaching the last at Worcester despite hanging up the straight. He will know more today and can confirm that form with Royal Household. Raffles Surprise is having a first run for Ben Pauling but gives the impression she’ll be more at home granted a greater test of stamina.
