Verdict

Eric The Third is running up a consistent sequence over fences but creeping up the weights as a result. Opechee didn’t get far at Market Rasen after winning in a lower grade at Stratford but Top Chief has only found one too good the last twice since finishing fourth to Eric The Third at Newton Abbot. We’ll take a chance on POLO THE MUMM on his first run for Alex Dunn. He’s lacked consistency over fences so far but is well treated on his hurdles form if he can get his act together. Ortenzia was disappointing over hurdles but you don't get many four-year-old fillies running over fences so her inclusion here is noteworthy.
