Verdict
This won’t take much winning and CANFORD THOMPSON is the obvious starting point. He’s been slowly creeping up the weights without winning but has been placed the last three times in this grade and few of his rivals can match that sort of consistency. Hermosa Vaquera has recorded both of his hurdles victories at Lingfield and looks the danger though a case can also be made for the enigmatic Tobacco Road, Briac and Gannicus. Tripartite is relatively unexposed and is probably the pick of the remainder.
