Verdict

Some in form stayers line up for this handicap including the likes of Spa Lane and Tass Heel but the vote goes to Ed Dunlop's Well Chosen, who advertised his current well-being when chasing home Turtle Valley at Haydock last week. Admittedly the going is going to be much faster today than on that occasion but there is no reason to suggest that the son of Sadler's Wells cannot handle the faster ground and, off the same mark and with the longer trip to bring out his undoubted stamina, he is taken to go one better. Spa Lane has been a regular visitor here over the years and has three course victories to his name but is plenty high enough in the weights now and may not have much more improvement left in him. Tass Heel took advantage of a lenient mark when successful at Beverley last month and, although beaten at Musselburgh subsequently that was over a shorter trip. He should appreciate the return to this distance and remains well handicapped on his best form. Coco Loco showed signs of a return to form when third to Heir To Be at Newcastle last time and has to be respected along with Lingfield winner It's Definite, although he disappointed on a return to turf at Kempton.
