Verdict
A big field but, unless one of the newcomers is out of the ordinary, it will be a surprise if Queen Of Bulgaria is not good enough to beat Fitzwarren and Little Jimbob. The selection improved on her debut effort when a close fourth behind Silent Revenge in a Wolverhampton maiden last time and, with further improvement to come, the daughter of Imperial Ballet is taken to open her account. Little Jimbob ran with credit when fourth behind Ali's Oasis on his debut at Musselburgh and rates the main danger. Fitzwarren took advantage of a decent draw when second at Beverley on his debut but did not progress from that on a return visit to the same venue. Karl Burke's Backofthenet, a son of Timeless Times, makes most appeal of the newcomers but Queen Of Bulgaria sets a fair standard and should take plenty of beating.
