      Verdict

      David Barron landed this event 12 months ago and can take the prize again with Oscar Pepper, Realism and Night Sight may provide most danger. This seven-year-old is at the top of his game having easily beaten Rainstorm in a Ladies race at Beverley last week. The runner-up performed with credit behind Gifted Flame on Monday evening so the form looks pretty solid. Realism has also hit a winning note, he led over 2 furlong out, before pulling clear to beat the good yardstick Fortune's Princess last time and another good run can be expected. Night Sight hasn't won for over two years, but has dropped to a handy mark now and may appreciate this drop in distance. Of the others, Derwent has a chance at the weights, especially with Realism, but Oscar Pepper's yard is really firing at the moment and he can add to their recent victories.
