Verdict
Mexican Pete is the form choice here and can beat Flotta and Rajam. It is amazing that this four-year-old hasn't managed a victory this term after putting up sound performances time and time again. His most recent effort behind Part Ploy is as good as any other form on show and he will be difficult to beat. Flotta found the one mile six furlongs too taxing last time and is better judged on his previous effort when a close up third over this trip at Newmarket. Rajam has been knocking on the door lately and made Jack Of Trumps pull out all the stops at York last time, another bold showing is expected. Best of the others may be Sahem, but if any horse deserves a victory it is Mexican Pete and he gets our vote.
