Verdict
Roseabad wasn’t disgraced in the Zetland Stakes at Newmarket nine days ago after springing a surprise at Bath and should have more to offer. That is also the case with easy Beverley winner Naamoos, also trained by Mark Johnston. Mystery Angel finished third in the Zetland and beat Iconic Queen in a nursery on the same track earlier. However, the latter was conceding 9lb that day and, with this extra furlong likely to suit on breeding, Ralph Beckett’s filly can take her revenge. Pythagoras wasn’t beaten far in a strong nursery at Ayr last time but we’ll take a chance on THE ROSSTAFARIAN, who made a striking winning debut at Salisbury with the opposition struggling home at wide intervals.
