Awake My Soul isn’t getting any younger but the recent Nottingham second was third in this last year when a pound higher. Cockalorum is another on a losing run but he didn’t really get the run of the race at Nottingham earlier this month and should be thereabouts again off his current mark. Benadalid was only beaten a neck over course and distance two runs ago but lacks the scope of CRUYFF TURN. The latter’s dam stayed this trip so further improvement is expected from Tim Easterby’s three-year-old, who was staying on over a mile at Ayr last time. Viceregent has won over further and on soft going so makes more appeal than the out-of-sorts Gold Souk.
