        Verdict

        Ralph Beckett trained the winner of this in 2007 and his REDVERS is the clear form pick this time around. He couldn't match strides with the speedy Chiefdom Prince on his reappearance over C&D last month but had subsequent Ripon third Alive And Kicking well behind and will be unlucky to come up against something of the winner's quality today. The Green Desert gelding Desert Chieftain may be the danger as he's certain to improve for his run over 7f at Newbury earlier in the month.
