Verdict

This is usually an informative bumper and this year’s renewal looks competitive. Judgement Day only found one too good when favourite for his debut under Rules at Limerick. Oakley Hall was second at Down Royal on St Stephens Day and again at Fairyhouse last month. Derrinross kept on well at the latter track on New Year’s Day and there was plenty of promise in Fly Rory Fly’s first run at Leopardstown. CLITANDRE (NAP) has his first run for Willie Mullins but is rated an exciting prospect. He’ll be aimed at one of the Championship races in the spring if successful here.
