Verdict

Slade Steel, a winner between the flags, came here in December and landed a bumper in a race that has worked out well. Willie Mullins has five of the eleven entries with Patrick choosing Ballyburn, who followed his victory between the flags with a convincing success over this track and trip in February. Derek O'Connor has a rare ride for the champion trainer on board Dancing City, who looks the type to keep on improving from his Wexford success. GREAT UNIVERSE absolutely hacked up in testing ground at Clonmel and though more rain would aid his cause he gets a chance to prove that was no fluke. Apple's Of Bresil has a superb pedigree and is one to note for the future.
