Verdict
The showcase handicap can go to Cd Europe ahead of hat-trick seeking Matty Tun, topweight Najeebon and Queens Rhapsody. Since scoring at Hamilton in April, Cd Europe has finished second quite a few times including at York on 11 October. That was yet another sterling effort by Kevin Ryan's five-year-old, and with the stable in form at the weekend, he should go well from his low draw. Matty Tun has been given a break since the summer, but with the turf Flat season about to finish, it is interesting that he is brought out. Najeebon continues to thrive, and after landing a big handicap at York, was a close fourth to stablemate Royal Millennium at Newbury. Sam Hitchcott gets on well with him and he can make the frame despite his welter burden. Queens Rhapsody was in great form earlier in the season and goes well fresh so is another for the short-list, but all in all, we reckon that Cd Europe is worth supporting.
