Verdict

Tim Walford's Forever Hope has run well in finishing third in each of his two starts so far, latterly when 16/1 behind Give Your Verdict at Nottingham last month and she has every chance in this event but faces stiff opposition in the shape of the Michael Dods-trained VIKING WARRIOR, who is the most experienced of the seven runners after four starts and has shown improved form in his last two outings when finding just one too good in races at Ayr and Catterick; he can go one better today. Bryan Smart's Hambleton could be of interest on his first outing as a three-year-old, while Tim Easterby's Hades has run creditably in both runs so far but needs to improve to win. Stable companion Nephele looks the better of Tim Easterby's two runners in the race but is another that looks booked for place at best.
