Verdict

Welcoming has placed in small fields in both starts over this longer trip but has been raised 3lb since her third at Bath. Fellow three-year-old Dancin Boy won over 1m2f here in May but has run poorly since. Brother McGonagall has better recent form than stablemate GIVE IT SOME TEDDY but Duran Fentiman rides the latter, who runs his best races here and is now 4lb lower than when successful over course and distance in April. He may be the value, though Spiorad is respected as he’s still unexposed and won a maiden handicap here in June before finishing third when favourite at Pontefract. Newmarket raider Cheer The Title was second at Sandown on his latest start but still beaten six lengths.
